Television mounted flat on the wall of a minimalist modern living room

Services

What we install

Most Houston homes need a standard wall mount, and that job is described below. Samsung sets and commercial displays run on different brackets, different anchors, and different schedules, so each has a page of its own.

Services

Why it holds

What we check before drilling

Four things decide whether a mount holds and whether it looks finished: the wall, the bracket pattern, the height, and the cable route. All four get settled before anything goes into your wall.

  • The wall decides the anchor

Plaster over lath, 16 inch wood framing, light gauge steel stud, brick veneer, poured concrete. Each one changes the anchor, the bit, and whether a cable can travel inside the wall at all.

  • The model number decides the bracket

The Frame takes its Slim Fit bracket. QLED and Neo QLED need their VESA pattern confirmed, and One Connect changed between generations. We work from the number on the back of the set, not the name on the box.

  • The cable is part of the job

A mounted panel above a dangling cable is half an install. Power and signal run inside the stud bay to a recessed outlet where the framing allows, and into a slim paintable channel where it does not.

FAQ

Common questions

Should I get a tilting or full motion mount above a fireplace?

Usually tilting. A TV above a fireplace sits higher than your eye line, and a few degrees of tilt fixes that angle without pushing the TV far off the wall the way an articulating arm does. Full motion is worth the extra depth only if you need to swing the TV toward a second seating area or reach the connections behind it.

Can a 65 inch TV hang on a single stud?

It should not. A 65 inch TV plus its bracket puts a lot of weight on a narrow strip of wood, and the leverage works against every screw. We span two studs, or add backing behind the drywall when only one stud lands where the TV needs to go.

How do you decide the mounting height?

From where you sit. The same TV wants a different height in a shallow room than a deep one, because the viewing angle changes with distance. We measure from your seat to the wall, take your seated eye height, and set the TV where looking at it stays comfortable.

Can you hide the cables inside the wall?

Usually, yes. Drywall over open stud bays lets us run the cables inside the wall to a recessed outlet behind the TV. Plaster, brick, concrete, and walls with blocking in the way do not, and there the cables go into a slim channel painted to match the wall. We check the wall before committing either way.

Can you reuse the bracket from my old TV?

Only if it actually fits. Mounting holes moved apart as TVs got bigger, so a bracket made for an older set often will not reach the holes on a new one, and its weight rating may not cover it either. We check both, and bring the right mount when the old one does not qualify.

Can the price change once the installer shows up?

No. The booking flow prices your TV size, wall type, and cable work, and that number is what you owe. If something unexpected turns up behind the wall, we stop and talk it through with you before any more drilling.
